In my class, their word wall words are like their spelling words and through the week we do all sorts of activities involving with them.
At the end of the week we do a final activity with "those" word wall words. For centers we do word wall games/activities.
One of them is: I have a spinner and they spin it and for example lets say it said "Look for short vowel words" then they look up at the word wall and find it.
This center keeps them interacted with the word wall in your classroom and also teaches them that whenever they need help with a word they can look at the word wall.
