Shopping for Books
by: Jennifer

My kids choose 3 books as part of our morning routine each day. These are kept on the corner of their desk until Daily 5 time. Each morning they can exchange the previous day's books or keep them to continue reading. This system has worked very well for me and my little friends. Having the kids choose books each day allows them to get "fresh" stories for each reading sessions and also they are not wasting their precious reading time shopping for new books. Hope this helps!

Hi,

My teammate and I have the kids pick out new books as part of their AM routine. Come in, get books, do morning work, etc...

This has worked out well for us.

Mrs. Mikesell :)
