The Big Tidy Up by Norah Smaridge

by Heather L.
(Mt. Juliet, TN)

This story is about a little girl who does not keep her room clean!

A wonderful lead-in to the importance of keeping our classroom tidy and particularly keeping centers cleaned correctly.

We follow up with a class graph "Is your bedroom CLEAN or MESSY?" and this hangs in our room during parent night -- leading to many funny reactions from parents!

Beautiful, brilliant pictures and sweet rhyming cadence make this book extremely catchy to children.
