The Big Book of Books and Activities by Dinah Zike

Oh, the things you can do with a piece of paper!

After showing the basic folds (hamburger, hot dog, taco, burrito, shutter) you are led into all sorts of fun and interesting activities that children can make.

My favorite is the bound book without staples.

Take two pieces of paper and scissors and you've got one made before you know it.

My right-brained children could immediately do it. Within two weeks, EVERYONE could make one by themselves.

Now that I've found Writer's Workshop on this site, they'll have their own great looking bound books.

Dinah has made a video by the same name which helps those of us who need to see someone do it.

I use something from Big Book of Books and Activities every day in my class.
