Stamp and Write
Fun activity for any age!

This is such a fun activity that every classroom should have an area to stamp and write!

Over the years I have purchased tons of different stampers in fun fonts. You can find them in $1 stores, in teaching magazines, or at the grocery store. One of my favorite sets is the A B Seas Alphabet Stamps. They are prefect for little hands.

The children can and express themselves in any way.

I really enjoy this because it is totally differentiated instruction to the core. The children can do as easy or difficult as they need.

Students seem to go to this area when they have something on their mind and need to express it. This activity allows them to think, write, and "get it out". It is very theraputic for some kids.

I also provide a CVC Word Fluency flipbook so they have a bank of words to work with. This really helps students who need support to create words.

My students each keep a journal for this area. They really like to go back and see what they used to do and what they can do now. It is also a great tool for parent conferences and administrative meetings.
