Pick Me name cards
by: Anonymous

I have been using the pick me name cards for about four years. I like the name cards and I decorate them with stickers. This also helps with letter and name recognition. The children learn each other names.

Later as their handwriting improves, I let them create their own name cards to use in this activity.

This is also good for when there is a substitute teacher.

Magic Mug
by: Anonymous

I have a similar method only mine is called, The Magic Mug. The children enjoy when we sing, "Shake, shake shake. Shake, shake, shake. Shake the magic. Shake the Magic Mug!"

Great
by: ADE

That is a very good idea. Children always want to be first and do not yet understand that everyone must take turns! Do you try to use all of the flowers in one day? Again I love this idea, and I am very sure I will use this in the future to keep things fair! Thnks
