Magazine Holders for Centers

by Jamie
(San Diego, CA)

I have a tiny classroom and saving space is my number one task.

I use magazine holders from Ikea (only $3 for 4!) to hold my literacy centers.

When the students know how to use one we label it.

So far we have introduced 3, which is seen in the picture.

When it is time for our writer's workshop or reading groups, students know which literacy centers to grab based on the group they are in and they also know just right where to put it back.

These are cheap, save space, and are easy for my kindergarten students to get and put back!
