Interactive Math Wall

Interactive Math Wall

Interactive Math Wall

Math is my favorite subject to teach.

In First grade calendar is a big part of our daily routine.

I love having an interactive wall where students can take and put things back on the wall.

Velcro circles are a must.

In the past I stored the parts of my weather graph, calendar numbers, and other things in baggies on an easel by my teacher chair.

It was also a hunt to find each part every day.

Now I have added little envelops to the wall.

They are store bought and go perfectly with my zebra theme.

Before adding them to the wall I ran the envelops through the lamination to make sure they would hold up for a while.

So now each interactive part is held on the wall!

Making them easily accessible for the students and impossibly for me to lose.

great idea
by: Tina Parent

I love your math wall! This is my first year teaching first grade and that is such a great idea. I have tried to figure out places to store math stuff for my math wall, and everything seems to get lost.
Thanks for sharing this,
Tina Parent
