How Many Words Can You Make?

Students build new words from a larger vocabulary, thematic, or seasonal word.

Ex: Cumulonimbus during a weather unit or metamorphosis during a butterfly unit.

The larger word is posted in the center and the letters to make the word are kept in a baggie.

Students build their new words and then record at least ten on a paper that is handed in.
