Guided Reading

"Guided Reading, Good First Teaching for All Children" is a must-have book for any teacher in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade. Period. It's that good.

This Guided Reading book walks readers through such topics as "Building on Early Learning", "Using running records", and "Dynamic grouping". It is an easy, yet very powerful read.

My personal copy is so full of post-its, highlighter marks and notes that I am thinking about buying a new one for next school year!

It seems like 9 times out of 10 if I have a question about something in reading groups, this book has the answer.

There are also printable resources in the back to assist you in your reading instruction. I have used them several times over the years and have found that they are effective and simple to use.

I highly recommend reading this book!
