Fishing for Letters

Students will each get their own fishing pole (a pointer with a string and magnet attached to the end.)

They also get an index card with 6 letters written on it. Those are the letters the students have to try and fish for.

Scatter magnetic letters in the center.

They each take turns fishing for a letter. If they "catch" a letter that is not on their card they have to throw it back in the pond.

The first one to get all their letters wins.
