The Excellent 11

The Excellent 11

"The Excellent 11" is another terrific Ron Clark book. This book was given to me by my mother about 3 years ago and I have read it several times now. It classifies as a good "summer read".

The focus of the book is on the different qualities that successful teachers possess, use and develop.

Each chapter starts with an inspirational quote on the quality.

Chapter 8: Humor
The most wasted of all days is one without laughter. -- E.E. Commings

I personally related to this because if I'm not laughing, there's no point in waking up in the morning. I try to find something happy, humorous and fun in every day!

I found this book most helpful when I was feeling down in the dumps and needed to reaffirm that I am a good teacher who does good things!
