Differentiation Games

Games for Learning

Are you asked to quantify your differentiation in your classroom?

How about using some differentiation games to make your classroom exciting and fun!

Using these games can enhance your centers activities, but will also assist you in knowing who has mastered each skill and can go on to a more difficult level.

I created a class list and listed the games available.

I printed each of the games on a different color paper. This makes it easier to keep track of!

Then I played each game with a small group.

Games for Learning

If a child knew all of the words or skills - I crossed their name off.

No need to practice that game any more!

I then listed the 'color' of the game I wanted each child to play on a sticky note.

Now they know which game they need to practice during centers.

I'm hoping that every two weeks or so I can quickly play with them again and see who can move up and who needs more time.

They games we are playing are CVC Words, CVCe Words, Verbs, Nouns, Contractions, Color Words, Number Words, Addition Facts, Subtraction Facts.

If you have some ideas - please contact me and I'll try to get some more games created!
