Desk Organization- I Love My Benches!

by Lisa Knutson

Chair Pocket Bench- Put between pod of four Storage Stool/Chair made from a crate

I put my husband to work to save my desks from becoming a mess.

He made benches that sit between pods of 4.

They stand as high as the legs of the desks so that we can set baskets on them and kids can still see each other over top.

So far, we have our writing folders in one basket, our math manipulatives in one basket, and a basket of writing tools there too.

My goal is to have less in the desks so they are spending less time searching for what they need!

I also have chair pockets that I sewed from old polyester skirts (not mine!) to hold their bags of books.

My husband also made little chairs out of crates.

The lids come off so I have my kleenex boxes stored in there which leaves me more room in my cupboards. Gotta love my husband!
