Take Time For You
Before You Burn Out
I know that the end of the year is upon us.
I found this in a Take-a-Book pile.
Paperwork is piling on.
It's quite entertaining!
Meetings are longer.
Everything is just "too much".
And that's before you start thinking about packing up everything you use into boxes!
I really, really, really want you to try and take time to relax, recharge and rejuvenate yourself.
While there are only a handful of days left, they will be the busiest days of the year.
If you just keep pushing yourself with 10, 11, 12 hour days - the only thing your students will remember over the summer will be a tired, crabby teacher with bags under their eyes.
Today I made myself sit in a chair, watch a butterfly and read this book.
So, please try to carve a little bit of time out for something you enjoy so you can send the kids off with smiles and great memories to last them through the summer.
I would LOVE to know what you think about this.
