I hope that this helps you get started on a SMathy adventure!
Helping Kids Project
A few years ago I started doing a project in my room that I called “Helping Kids by Helping Each Other”.
The goal of the project was to build a loving community in my room and help people in need in the process.
This will be my third year doing it, and I can't wait to get started.
So, this morning when I was drinking my coffee, I thought, “Let’s open this project to anyone who wants to be part of it!”
Well... I’ve created a Helping Kids Project page.
It has everything you need to be part of this new adventure in teaching.
There’s printables, a parent letter and step by step directions on how to have your students build community and help people in need at the same time.
I hope that you take a few minutes to check it out.
If you’re interested in joining our adventure – sign your class up at the project page and be part of the fun!
Check out my podcasts on my podcast blog. They are fun and helpful!
I hope that you have enjoyed this newsletter. Please feel free to email it to friends and family who are teachers or homeschool moms!
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
See you next month!
